Method
 

  1. 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙖 𝙋𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜
    Soft, sticky, old-school comfort — baked golden and drowned in a warm creamy sauce with rich vanilla and caramel notes.
    ⭐ Ingredients
    Pudding
    15 ml butter
    125 ml sugar
    1 egg
    250 ml cake flour
    125 ml Ideal Milk
    30 ml apricot jam
    5 ml bicarbonate of soda, dissolved in
    15 ml vinegar
    1 tsp BlixSam Vanilla Cake Flavouring
    1 tsp BlixSam Caramel Cake Flavouring
    Sauce
    150 ml cream
    150 ml Ideal Milk
    125 ml sugar
    125 ml water
    5 ml vanilla essence
    ½ tsp BlixSam Vanilla Cake Flavouring
    ½ tsp BlixSam Caramel Cake Flavouring
    🔥 Method
    Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly grease an oven-safe dish.
    Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
    Beat in the egg until well combined.
    Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, mixing gently.
    Stir in the apricot jam.
    Add the BlixSam Vanilla Cake Flavouring and BlixSam Caramel Cake Flavouring and mix through.
    Add the bicarbonate of soda dissolved in vinegar and mix lightly.
    Pour into the prepared dish and bake for 30 minutes until risen and golden.
    Prick the hot pudding all over with a fork.
    Make the Sauce
    Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
    Add the BlixSam Vanilla Cake Flavouring and BlixSam Caramel Cake Flavouring.
    Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
    Pour the hot sauce over the pudding and let it soak in.
    Serve warm with custard, cream, or ice cream, proper comfort food.
