Lemon Slushy
A refreshing frozen drink bursting with bright lemon flavour and a beautiful sunshine-yellow colour. Perfect for hot summer days and guaranteed to cool you down.
Ingredients
3 cups ice cubes
1 cup lemonade or Sprite
1 teaspoon BlixSam Lemon Cake Flavouring
1–2 drops BlixSam Yellow Gel Colour
Fresh lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Method
1. Add the ice and lemonade to a blender.
2. Add the BlixSam Lemon Cake Flavouring.
3. Add just 1–2 drops of Yellow Gel Colour.
4. Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth slushy consistency.
5. If too thick, add a little more lemonade.
6. Pour into chilled glasses.
7. Garnish with fresh lemon slices if desired.
For an Extra Frosty Slushy
Freeze your glasses for 15 minutes before serving.
Add an extra ½ cup of ice for a thicker texture.
Serve immediately for the best consistency.
