Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp BlixSam Pasta Mio
- 2 tsp BlixSam Garlic Melt
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 400 g Bolognese pasta sauce
- 100 ml fresh cream (optional, for a creamier filling)
- 200 g mature cheddar cheese, grated
- 100 g mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Butter for toasting
Method
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the onion until soft and lightly golden, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the beef mince and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in the BlixSam Pasta Mio and Garlic Melt, allowing the spices to bloom with the mince.
- Add the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the Bolognese sauce and simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in the fresh cream, if using, and mix well.
- Remove from the heat and stir through half of the cheddar cheese and the parsley.
- Spoon the mince filling into the tortillas and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella.
- Roll the tortillas tightly, folding in the sides.
- Toast in a buttered frying pan, sandwich press, or air fryer at 180°C for 5–7 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Slice in half and serve immediately.
