- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 500 g beef sirloin or rump, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil

- ½ cup BlixSam Smoke Craft Smoky Sweet BBQ Sauce
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 cups grated mozzarella, provolone or cheddar
- Extra Smoke Craft Sauce for drizzling

Method
- Prepare the garlic bread: Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the softened butter with Garlic Melt and parsley. Slice the loaf lengthways and generously spread the butter over the cut sides. Toast for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Sear the steak: Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season the steak with Dop ’n Tjop and sear quickly until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Caramelise the vegetables: Add the peppers and onion to the same pan. Cook for 5–6 minutes until softened with slightly charred edges. Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add the Smoke Craft: Return the steak to the pan. Pour in Smoke Craft Sauce and toss over high heat for 2–3 minutes, until everything is coated in a glossy, smoky glaze.
- Load the bread: Spoon the cheesesteak mixture generously over the toasted garlic bread.
- Cheese it up: Cover with grated cheese and return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, until melted, bubbling and lightly golden.
- Finish: Drizzle with extra Smoke Craft Sauce, scatter over fresh parsley and slice into generous portions.
